Your morning routine is the key to your day! Based on our research and experience, people who create and execute a daily routine consistently and purposefully tend to be more productive throughout their day. They accomplish more goals, experience more peace and joy, and experience a contentment in their journey and growth.

In today’s podcast episode of Monday Morning Moments, I share some tips on how to “win the day” in your morning routine in order to set yourself up for success.

My morning routine involves doing things in 4 quadrants of life: spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional:

  • Spiritual
    • Morning quiet time involving Bible study and prayer – It is the first thing I do every morning before I do anything else.
  • Physical:
    • Drink Athletic Greens and carrot juice
    • Coffee with Momentous collagen peptides
    • Go for a run or do a workout to get moving
  • Mental:
    • Read a chapter in a book or listen to an audio book
    • Read a trusted news source like the Wall Street Journal or The Athletic
    • Develop/Review my top 3 priorities for the day – the the things I must accomplish if I accomplish nothing else
    • Plan my day by reviewing my calendar and aligning my top priorities with my schedule
