I doubt you are suffering from too much encouragement today! The word encouragement comes from the Latin word “cor” which means heart. Encouragement literally means to give heart, strength, and courage to another person. We all desire and need encouragement in our lives. Yet, there are some leaders who either don’t know how to encourage others or intentionally decide not to do it. In today’s episode of Monday Morning Moments, I discuss 4 ways that great leaders encourage  others.

Episode Outline:

Encouragement should be:

  • Specific
  • Timely
  • Authentic

4 Ways to Encourage Others:

  1. Communicate “I Believe in You!”
  2. Focus on Clear Standards of Excellence.
  3. Expect the Best For and From People.
  4. Notice and Recognize Contribution and Achievement.
